Oh So Sweet

Kendra and I both slept in this morning. I went to bed at 10 and woke up at 3 because I heard Daniel. I laid awake for a few hours...thought about getting out of bed to exercise and then fell back asleep until 8:30! Kendra went to bed at 10 and didn't get up until 9:30! When she came downstairs, I asked her if she wanted to snuggle. She climbed up in my lap, oh and Frieda doll too, and snuggled in. It was nice. :) I asked her what she wanted to do today. Her response was heart melting. She said, "Mama I want to snuggle with you ALL day." Oh my! She did change her mind because she got hungry.

We are going to do a fun project with glue and tissue paper today for school. I am getting really excited for home school convention in April. I had better get my taxes done so I can go as they are due on the same day as the conference.

Daniel has Tuesday off, but had to go to the pumphouse from 4-8pm and then 12-4am. So much for a normal day for him. He is supposed to be one night shift. I am expecting to him to sleep all day. Kendra was able to give him a kiss this morning and that is all she will see of him today. When we go to AWANA he will just be getting up. We are almost half done with nights. ;) This one has been hard to get into the groove for me.

SNOW!

Yes, it is SNOWING here! Kendra was sooo bummed out. She said she was so excited for summer to be here and then it snowed.

She and I had some craft time today. (We didn't go to church today--Daniel and I ate some old pasta and got sick.) We did markers, glitter glue, and home made stickers. (I referred to these earlier this week.) Kendra and I had fun with this...I kept on after she quit. I will show you the end result soon...they are drying.

SNOW AGAIN!

Kendra and I slept in today until 8:30. She is starting to get a cold again. She slept over 12 1/2 hours! There is tons of snow here again. Kendra and I shoveled the neighbor's driveway so they could go to Good Friday Services today. Daniel needs to get oil for the snowblower...you mix it with gas. I was bummed out that I actually had to shovel. It wasn't too bad...thank you Curves. Four days of Curves is enough for my first week! It was the super heavy snow!! My family is supposed to come tomorrow....we'll see.

We had Tiffany over for lunch today. Kendra was quite the little performer. We had a lovely time visiting. We had angel food cake with strawberries for dessert! Yum! Kendra even got "all dressed up" for Tiffany.

This afternoon Kendra and I got haircuts.

SNOW!

We took it easy today. Kendra watched a movie while I dozed on the couch. She sat next to me and said, "Mama I am here for you." It melted my heart! We shoveled lots of snow! Praise the LORD for Samuel and Jordan who shoveled twice for me. We watched Annie dog and Heidi try and play in the snow...it was funny.

Kendra had fun making snow angels. It was her idea to make them!
