An Accident

Kendra was writing her name on her princess dry erase board tonight and she said oh no! She peed!!!!!! I was in shock! She has not happened in a LONG time. Tonight was bath night any way, but still.

4 AM

This morning at 4:00 AM I heard my little girl calling for me. "Mama I need to go potty!" I was shocked and amazed that she held it!!! When she calls out this time of day it is b/c she already peed the bed! I am sooo proud of her. We called Daniel at work to tell him about.

UP Early

Today Kendra woke up at 5:30 because she wet the bed. We changed the bedding while she went to the potty. When she was done, she told me that she was done sleeping! Thankfully Daniel is on nights, and they went to the grocery store. I however, can't sleep. Maybe I'll go to Curves. :)

Kendra sees a new MD today about her hair pulling. Pray that we get some insight.

Big Girl

During the night, Kendra woke me up to get her dolly Freida. She told me that she was downstairs in the stroller, but she didn't want the stroller. Sure enough, Freida was sitting in her stroller in the kitchen. I gave her the dolly and she snuggled and was asleep. Twenty minutes or so later, she said, "Pops, I peed." I had asked her when I brought her dolly, but she said no. I wasn't upset because she stopped herself and went tons on the potty.

Today was a busy day. I will try and get some pics up so you can see what we did today.

My Big Girl

Tonight Kendra is choosing to wear training pants instead of a diaper. She has been waking up dry...we'll see how it goes. She had an accident today in her panties.

Done!

I think I can safely say that Kendra is potty trained...and I am no longer. She is able to hold it and tell me when she has to go. Daniel is off today, so I thought I would let her initiate. She has done perfect all day.

We made tons of playdoh today. I am getting ready to go up North to do the Relay for Life walk. I am making the playdoh for the silent auction baskets. I was very grateful to have Daniel's muscles as we made 6 recipes worth!

She did it!

When we were eating breakfast today, Kendra told me that today was Saturday. I asked her how she knew that and she said, "I don't know."

We had dinner with Irene and her family tonight. It was fun to relax and not cook. :)

Tonight Kendra put herself on the potty!! We didn't have any accidents! Wahoo! She was up a lot last night, so I am super tired. I will write more later. ;)

Potty Partners

Today Debbie and her kiddos came over. Kendra and Emily worked on their potty training together. Daniel shared his legos with Ethan and Brian. They loved it...Daniel too. His mom just brought them last time she was here.

I had a humidifier/dehumidifier installed in the piano today. It is supposed to help keep it tuned. We'll see if I remember to add water often enough. ;)

Tonight we had small group. We talked about "acts of service" as a love language. This is my number one love language. It was fun to see what the other thought.

Lazy Bones

Today Kendra and I didn't get up until 9:30 this morning. She was up during the night, so I guess we needed some extra rest. Daniel overslept this am, but wasn't late for work. We brought his lunch and had lunch with him. I asked Kendra several times if she needed to use the potty...nope. Then those sweet words, "Mama, I need to go potty." She did it!!! I am so proud of her!

It is a rainy day today, so we are justing staying inside. Daniel mowed the lawn and I tidied the flower garden yesterday, so that we just in time. :)

This afternoon, Kendra held it for 2 hours and 20 minutes! We called Papa to let him know because we were sooo excited.

Still Puffy

Today Kendra went to the Dr because of her gnat bites. Thankfully, they don't itch. We have to put ointment in her eyes. Kendra played at Mary's house--she wore panties. She and Mary did very well on their potty training. I was able to tidy up for small group tonight. Kendra's eye is still puffy. I will call the Dr in the morning.

Bummer Kiddo

So yesterday was a great day for K's potty training. Today she was outside when Daniel was mowing and I heard her hollering. She had wiggled between two chairs, was stuck, and pooped in her panties. She was sooo bummed out.

We had a traditional memorial day dinner tonight. It was super yummy. Kendra's favorite part of dinner was "Aunt Cookie's Strawberry Salad." We prayed for Cousin Beth's safety.

Wahoo!

Tonight Kendra told Daniel that she had "a feeling" and put herself on the potty!!! Gramme came today to visit us for a few days.

Kendra and I went to Debbie's today. She is going to paint the kid's bathroom, so we were checking out colors. Of course, we had to go to a couple of garage sales too. I found a few things. The last sale happened to be next to a park, so we ate our sandwiches there. The kids got to play a little-Kendra went down the HIGH TWISTY slide. I couldn't believe it!

After our picnic, Kendra and headed for home. She went to Mary's house while I got my haircut. I asked her if she wanted to keep her panties on at Ms Linda's and she said yes. She also told me that she would tell Ms Linda if she had to go. I'm thinking to myself, why would you tell Linda if you don't tell me?! I had a great time getting my hair cut-they massaged my head too:) I love that part!


I laid Kendra down for a rest and she wasn't going to sleep, so we went to a garage sale. After we were done, I thought we had better gas up. I was getting my wallet out of the trunk when Kendra said, 'MAMA, I NEED TO GO POTTY!!!!" You would have thought there was a 4 alarm fire, by the way we moved. We made it to the bathroom no problem, AND she went!! I was so happy, I bought her a Reese's peanut butter cup!!! We had dinner with Grandpa Gary and Grandma Sharon to celebrate. I am a PROUD mama today!
