We went to visit Great Grandma Helen today and we were greeted by the Army National Guard. We had to turn around, go toward home, and go through downtown. When we were on 1st Ave we were greeted by a road block. (see picture) Eventually after a few twists and turns we got there. On the way over there, Kendra made me so proud I cried.
She volunteered to pray. She prayed that Jesus would hold the flood waters back. She prayed for Mr Don and Ms Carmelle that the water wouldn't come to their house, (they would need to sandbag if the water came higher than 41.5') Great Grandma Helen that she would be safe from the water, and her friend Jacob from church. She told me that Jesus would just have to hold His hands up and the flood water would stop. Wow what faith! I love you Kendra Adelle.
